💡 Key tip: Give peas string or a stake to climb; frequent harvesting keeps the plant productive for longer.
🤝 Companion logic: It improves the soil by leaving nitrogen alongside almost any vegetable; it is especially compatible with carrot, radish, cucumber, corn, lettuce and squash. Keep it away from onion, garlic and leek (allium); allium compounds inhibit legume growth and nitrogen fixation. Don't plant it next to gladiolus either.
