📅 कैलेंडर उत्तरी गोलार्ध के अनुसार है; दक्षिणी गोलार्ध में बुवाई का समय ~6 महीने आगे-पीछे करें।
💡 मुख्य सुझाव: फलियों के खेत के किनारे बोने पर यह मैक्सिकन बीन भृंग और काले एफिड (याप्राकबिति) को रोकता है तथा फलियों का स्वाद और वृद्धि बढ़ाता है, ऐसा बताया जाता है। पत्तागोभी वर्ग के पास यह पत्तागोभी तितली/पतंगे को भी दूर रखता है (thymol/karvakrol गंध)। फूल आने से ठीक पहले कटाई करने पर इसकी सुगंध सबसे तीव्र होती है।
🤝 साथी तर्क: फलियों (id 16, 17, 18, 19) के साथ इसे लगाना सबसे मज़बूत और पारंपरिक संयोजन है (कीट-निवारण + स्वाद); प्याज के साथ यह आपसी स्वाद/वृद्धि लाभ देता है; पत्तागोभी वर्ग के पास यह पत्तागोभी पतंगे को रोकता है; टमाटर और लहसुन के साथ भी संगत बताया जाता है; यारो/भुतकेशी लाभदायक कीट लाता है।
