栽培＆種まきのポイント
📅 種まき2月〜3月に室内でまきます。遅霜の2週間後に屋外へ苗を定植します

📅 カレンダーは北半球向けです。南半球では種まき時期を約6か月ずらしてください。
💡 重要ポイント: しおれた花を定期的に摘み取りましょう（花がら摘み）。この手入れは夏中の開花を持続させ、種が付くのを防ぎます。菜園ではペチュニアをインゲン、ピーマン、トマト、アスパラガスの間に散らして、害虫忌避と花粉媒介者の誘引の両方に使えます。
🤝 コンパニオンの理由: ほとんどの野菜や香草と相性が良い、おだやかな隣人です。アブラムシ、ヨコバイ（leafhopper）、アスパラガスハムシ、ヨトウムシ（hornworm）、ウリハムシ、メキシコマメゾウムシなどの害虫を遠ざけ（ナス科アルカロイドのおかげ）、花でハチや捕食性の益虫を引き寄せます。特にインゲン、ピーマン、トマト、アスパラガスと一緒に良い結果が出ます。カボチャのそばには害虫忌避/おとりとして散らせます。トウモロコシ、カボチャ、ヒマワリなど強く日陰をつくる植物のすぐ根元に植えるのは避けましょう（光と養分の競合）。
