💡 关键要点: 不要肥沃土壤；贫瘠的土壤反而能让它开花更慷慨。叶片和花朵可食，有淡淡的胡椒味。作为诱集植物种在花园边缘；当它被蚜虫覆盖得很厉害时，为防扩散，把那些植株拔出并移出花园。
🤝 伴生逻辑: 它是把蚜虫和菜粉蝶引向自身的诱集植物；通过把这些害虫聚到自己身上来保护邻近蔬菜。在南瓜和黄瓜上能驱赶南瓜蝽（squash bug）和黄瓜甲虫。与抱子甘蓝和马铃薯的关系有分歧（说法不一）：有些资料说有益（诱虫/驱避），有些说有害（携带蚜虫/共同害虫、以旺盛生长压制芸薹类、在马铃薯上培土会埋住幼苗）；因此最好不要种得太近，而是留些距离。
